Indian Key:
MM 78.5, (Good) This is a small key ¼ mile off shore from US 1. It was
a small settlement of wreakers during the 1830s and 40s. You can walk the old
streets the town and see the foundations of the buildings. It is fun to learn
a little of Key's history of riches, heroes, villains, Indian attacks and survival.
You can reach the island by kayak or ferry.
